The Motive Gear D35-456 ring and pinion set for the Dana 35 rear axle in 4.56 ratio is a forged 8620 steel gear set for Jeep Cherokee XJ builds running 33" tires. The Dana 35 is the factory rear axle on most XJ models — re-gearing to 4.56 restores performance lost when fitting larger tires and pairs correctly with a Dana 30 HP Front 4.56 re-gear for a matched drivetrain.
