The ARB Air Locker RD101 is a pneumatic locking differential for the Dana 30 front axle with 27 splines and a 3.54 or lower gear ratio. Built for Jeep Wrangler and Cherokee XJ models running stock or mild gear ratios, the RD101 transforms front axle traction on demand — critical for rock crawling, mud, and any terrain where one wheel loses contact with the ground.

How It Works

A pneumatic locking mechanism inside the differential prevents the axle shafts from rotating independently when activated. Both wheels are locked directly to the ring gear, delivering maximum traction. When deactivated, the differential operates exactly like a standard open unit — no compromise in normal driving.
